There was a special star that night:

It led the Magi to the town of Bethlehem.

The star shone so beautiful so bright

as it revealed the road to them..

At last the star stopped moving

above a humble, holy manger..

The wise men offered gifts while worshipping.

Sadly, there was a whisper of dark, vindictive danger..

The star still shone guiding those who

came from near and far to see the Jesus baby boy!

They did not all know of the peril, that is true.

Humble and important people worshipped Him filled with pure joy!

But the soldiers of treacherous Herod were lurking,

God warned Joseph about the evil Herod’s scheming.

The star was constant , shining vividly

as Joseph fled to Egypt with his new family…
