Madiba, truly a man sent  by God

to finally free our country from the shackles

of apartheid, the awful, heinous plot

to keep slavery alive while peace unravel.

He fought with all of his being,

sacrificing  his own life, love, family

for his country, his people, so many not even knowing..

But in ’94 came the incredible watershed !

A new South Africa was born that day!

Thank God for Madiba who wisely led,,

Promised our country a new history, come what may…

But now, after nearly twenty, often turbulent years,

he will go to his God,and we will shed inevitable tears..
