Dark night is quickly falling..

Should be time for weary to rest..

But bright city lights are calling

revellers to come out , dressed in their best.

From separate units come loud , excited voices

shouting gayly to one another,

confering all there choices

of hangouts, new places to discover !

Deafening racket on the stairs,

cranky, hungry children crying, screaming!

exhausted mothers weighed down with shopping, cares
are chilly, grumpily,  yelling, reprimanding..

After endless time of all the coming and going

blessed peace is finally descending..
