Drought: a heavy transparent cloak,

suffocates every living , breathing thing.

Life struggles on under a yoke

that steals the joy of summer living

Sage scientists confer solemnly, declare:

It is the signs of global warming,

greedy, ignorant people who did not care,

did not listen , did not want to heed the warning!

Now this suffocating shroud just stays.

Perchance small tears will appear in places

bringing great relief even flood days..

Yet the drought continues, draw despair on hollow

faces.

So we wait repent  and we plead and we pray:

Please God , destroy take the cloak away..
